Experienced Import Coordinator required for International Removalist located on Brisbane's Northside.

Overseas Packers & Shippers are a specialist in international relocation service provider dealing in the movement of household goods both into and out of Australia. Located on the north side of Brisbane we are a family-run, privately owned business, established in 1976.

What's the job?

Imports is a key part of our business and this role function is the smooth processing of shipments through the import clearance process to ensure clients and our international partners are happy. You will have a degree of autonomy, whilst working within a team that shares the work with you.

Key duties would include:

• Ensuring clients are notified of shipment arrivals in a timely manner
• Prepare and submit internal manifests through ICS, EID Cargo Wise, OneStop
• Preparing and collating documentation for Customs and Australian Quarantine clearance
• Communication / liaison with internal & external stakeholder
• Communication / liaison with service providers (Shipping Lines / FF)
• Oversee & monitor shipment arrival, clearance and delivery commitments

Essential Requirements

• Experience in import processes for personal effects
• Experience in using ICS, EDI and OneStop
• High level of communication skills – both verbally and in writing
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Moveware experience would be looked upon favourably.
• Good level of computer literacy
