Mechanic

We have an opportunity available for a Light Vehicle Mechanic to gain experience in the marine industry. Exposure to working with Superyachts, Naval Ships and other high end Marine upgrades!

Training available to learn new skills!

Duties Include -

• No Marine Experience Necessary!
• Pipework and pump replacements
• Gears, valves, shafts and bearings - test, inspect, replace
• Hydraulics & Oil upgrades / repairs
• Accessory & Generator upgrades
• Large Superyachts, Naval Vessels and Catamarans

Licences and Requirements -

• Trade Qualified - Light Vehicle Mechanic
• Ability to follow direction and take on training of new skills
• Pipework and general mechanical experience Highly Regarded
• Marine Experience Highly Regarded But NOT Essential

Weekly Structure and Rate -

• Full Time Hours with OT (Up to 50 hours per week)
• Casual Rate: $42.50ph + Penalties
• Permanent Rate: $40.00ph + Penalties
• Leading to Permanent
• Located Hemmant
