ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a self-motivated autonomous proactive Admin person/Support Coordinator to manage a case load of Participants across the Brisbane, Gold and Sunshine Coast regions, you will be working from our Holland Park offices however work-from-home options are available for 1-2 days per week if required. You will be supporting our participants and their families to navigate the day-to-day challenges they may face, work alongside our Stakeholders and providers, you will be assisting with Admin duties associated in the smooth running of the business. The responsibilities of the position include:
Support Coordination duties
Assisting participants to connect to and engage with various funded supports which will assist in achieving their goals and live meaningful lives.
Supporting participants to access supports according to the funding provided in their NDIS allocated budget and assist them and their families understand how it all works.
Fully understanding the participant’s environment and circumstances, respond to and resolve crisis situations that impact on the participants ability to achieve their goals and make their daily lives impactful.
Building capacity in participants to maintain existing relationships with the end goal being them leading more independent lives
Building and sustaining long term relationships with external service providers and supports in place so that they can thrive and gain consistency.
Drafting and maintaining all relevant admin records, systems, reports, and general documentation in accordance with our policies and procedures
Admin duties
· General day to day administrative support, including managing emails, phone calls, and correspondence.
· Coordinate and maintain office systems such as schedules, filing, and data entry.
· Assist with compliance documentation and ensure adherence to NDIS standards.
· Support with HR / WHS and Recruitment-sourcing, screening and onboarding new staff.
· Prepare and distribute internal communications and reports.
· Ensure staff utilize Shift care effectively and that they submit all shift notes, incident reports and
documentation as required, and check reports submitted daily
· Assist with training and meeting coordination/preparations
· Ensure staff competences are kept up to date and recorded (first aid, police checks, worker screening
checks, NDIS worker module)
· Liaise with Support Workers, participants, families, and stakeholders to provide a professional and helpful
point of contact.
· Send out communications to the group chat to update staff of latest communications
· Assist with new Participant Admin (care plans, service agreements, stakeholders, reporting, appointments)
· Monitor and maintain office supplies and equipment.
· Updating Social Media pages
· Working 1-1 with Participants when required
· Ad hoc admin duties as required
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Experience working within the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) sector within an Admin/Support Coordinator role and an understanding of the complex needs of people with disabilities.
2 years’ experience in a similar role advantageous as you will need to hit the ground running and work independently most of the time
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours if and when required and travel to Participants homes or stakeholder meetings and events /expos.

All our staff are required to hold relevant competencies to perform their roles as we work with vulnerable people, the successful candidate will need to have:
Australian Driver’s License (P2 minimum), Vehicle Rego and comprehensive insurance (if transporting participants) Km reimbursed
NDIS Disability Workers Screening card or willing to obtain, blue card if applicable
Police check or willing to obtain
NDIS Worker Orientation Module and any other training completed- free Online training on NDIS website
Current First Aid and CPR
Manual Handling/ Infection Control / Hand Hygiene certification evidence (or willingness to complete if required)
The right to work in Australia- visa or citizenship certificate
Any Certificate III/IV in Aged, Community or Disability Care or similar would be advantageous
