Key Responsibilities:
Bank and credit card reconciliations in Xero
Receipt and expense management across the business using Hubdoc
Preparing monthly profit & loss reports, and other financial summaries
Invoice management and preparation of payment runs for suppliers and freelancers
Lodging BAS and GST accurately and on time
Monitoring accounts payable and receivable
Assisting with cash flow forecasting and budget tracking
Liaising with accountants and ensuring compliance with ATO and regulatory standards
Maintaining accurate records for all three businesses (Social Booth, Instant Crush, Grasp Social)
Requirements:
Strong experience using Xero and Hubdoc
Ability to prepare and lodge BAS/GST independently
University qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
Strong time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Based in Melbourne with the ability to attend our office as required
Bonus Skills (Highly Regarded):
Experience with payroll processing and superannuation
Familiarity with project/job costing and time-based billing
Confidence assisting with end-of-year preparation for tax returns
Understanding of business performance analysis (profitability tracking, margin analysis, etc.)
