ABOUT THE ORGANISATION

Coongan Pty Ltd was established by Nyiayparli, Nyamal man, Bradley Hall back in 2011 with a vision to bring his community and industry together through cultural education and sustainable land use practices for community wellbeing. Today, it is a proudly family-owned and operated organisation committed to creating thoughtful ways of working on Nyiyaparli country through education, Heritage and environmental services. We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Operations Coordinator, you will be pivotal in supporting and guiding the team of employees and independent contractors. This role is responsible for safe and efficient daily business operations and activation of team members to deliver contracted client work.

· Responsible for the day-to-day management of client delivery work and scheduling of team members and resources, including prioritisation of tasks and allocation of resources to meet client requirements.

· Track and maintain client work objectives, plans, schedules and workflows in line with budgetary and contractual arrangements.

· Accurately report on operational targets, problem-solve any challenges for efficient delivery and communicate status across departments.

· Monitor workforce availability and work allocations by managing timesheets, leave requests, and workforce coordination to ensure smooth operations.

· Coordinate administrative support to facilitate the smooth and efficient daily operations including employee and contractor onboarding and offboarding.

· Coordinate administrative support to create and maintain SOP’s, standardised documentation, guidelines, checklists, and resource materials for all client work.

· Identify any learning and development gaps within the team.

· Coordinate and implement business improvement systems by promoting a culture of continuous improvement in all aspects of work.

· Lead by example and create a safe, positive, and harmonious work environment.

· Adhere to industry regulations and safety standards and ensure the well-being of all stakeholders.

The above list is not an exhaustive list of duties. You will be expected to perform different tasks to meet the organisation’s overall objectives.

ABOUT YOU

Ideal Skills:

· A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an operational role in training and/or consulting industries.

· Experience in the day-to-day oversight of consulting or project delivery for resource companies.

· Experience working with Aboriginal organisations and groups.

· Provision of executive level administrative, business and project support.

· Well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

· Demonstrated high level of verbal and written communication.

· Proven ability to work effectively to meet project schedules and deadlines.

· Ability to multi-task and deal with conflicting priorities.

· High-level competency in MS Office, Teams and SharePoint.

Ability to:

✱ Uphold and exemplify the organisation’s values and behaviours – caring, collaborative, practical and thoughtful.
