Overview
The School of Medical and Health Sciences at Edith Cowan University (ECU) is looking for an experienced web administrator to join the Operations Team as a Coordinator. This role is responsible for managing and developing the School of Medical and Health Sciences' digital and print communications platforms. This role will oversee the School's website, implement a new SharePoint site, produce newsletters, and develop various educational and informational content. Working closely with the Operations Manager and various stakeholders, this position plays a critical role in ensuring effective communication both internally and externally.
This role provides support to the School of Medical and Health Sciences across the broad spectrum of communications, including the review and maintenance of the School website, and the development, and subsequent maintenance, of a School SharePoint. This role will support staff with the production and upkeep of website, associated digital pages and digital educational media.
This position will play an integral role in enhancing the School’s digital presence and internal communications systems. This will suit an individual who is self-motivated, innovative, and thrives on working in a busy and complex work environment.
There is a need to be flexible as you may be asked from time-to-time to cover tasks outside of your portfolio including operational support.
Selection Criteria
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience OR equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation;
- Demonstrated proficiency in providing communications support, particularly with regards to the development and management of web content and Microsoft SharePoint;
- Demonstrated high level organisational customer service and time management skills with the ability to prioritise numerous competing tasks with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and ensure targeted quality outcomes;
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content for a varied audience across multiple platforms;
- Demonstrated high level of skills in using standard software and database packages, including MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Adobe Pro in particular document formatting and collation;
- Interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop good relationships across departments and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Benefits & Remuneration
This fixed term contract attracts the remuneration of $92,087 - $99,353 plus up to 17% University superannuation contribution.
