As we continue to grow, we’re seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to join our team and play a key role in driving the next chapter of our success.

About the Role
As our new Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of our operations - leading a small, dynamic team to ensure smooth warehouse management, seamless event logistics, and exceptional client service. This is a key leadership role reporting directly to the Director and ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced event-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all operational functions of the business, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across logistics, inventory management, and on site services.

Lead, mentor, and support a small operations team, fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing work environment.

Manage warehouse operations, including inventory control, equipment maintenance, space cleanliness, assertive storage, and timely preparation of hire items.

Supervise warehouse and fleet staff, ensuring tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, safely and to a high standard of quality.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement in productivity, cost-efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Ensure all hire equipment and warehouse machinery are maintained in excellent working condition through regular inspections, servicing, and prompt repairs.

Oversee the maintenance, servicing, and repair schedules of the company’s truck fleet to ensure safe and reliable transport operations.

Maintain strict adherence to workplace health and safety standards, promoting a safe and compliant working environment.

Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure operational alignment with client needs and event timelines.

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure reliable service and quality outcomes.

Keep up to date with industry developments and identify opportunities to implement process improvements and innovative practices.

What We’re Looking For

Demonstrated experience in operations management, preferably within the events, hospitality, or logistics sectors.

Exceptional organisational and management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

A hands-on and proactive leader with the ability to inspire, support, and guide a team to success.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on efficiency and practical outcomes.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working across teams and with clients.

Confident using digital tools, including inventory management systems and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.).

Solid understanding of workplace health and safety (WHS) practices and risk management.

Practical knowledge of vehicle operations, including truck maintenance and fleet coordination.

A positive, can-do attitude and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service and memorable client experiences.
