Child's Play Early Learning recognises the importance of supporting the educational program and therefore promote the practice of having an Educational Leader. We are family ran business with passionate owners that care and want to connect with our educators and ensure they feel supported and part of the family
Our Educational Leaders:
Support the educators in the development, implementation and maintenance of the educational program
Support the centre management team
Guide the practice of the educators daily
Collaborate with the educators to promote an inclusive curriculum
Collaborate with the educators to provide an aesthetically pleasing environment
Collaborate with other Child's Play Educational Leaders
Complete weekly, monthly and 6 monthly curriculum and programming audits
Organise and manage the professional development plan for all educators
Seek and provide development content for all educators
Develop strong and meaningful relationships with all families and managing the centre ‘ongoing outings’ schedule
We anticipate this role to be off the floor 5 days a week; but may at times be requested to help and support.
We have a centre director and admin in the office to make up the management team
About Child's Play:
Child's Play Early Learning has 7 sites, 2 in Tarneit and 1 in Torquay, 1 in Point Cook and 1 in Wyndham Vale, 1 in Truganina, 1 in Dandenong South and soon to be Mambourin. We have been established for over 10 years; and our owners have over 25 years experience in teaching and early childhood. A local family owns and operates Childs Play Early Learning Centres. We pride ourselves on being local and extremely passionate about providing quality care and practising the Child's Play philosophy.
We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and advocate the approach throughout the educational program. Our philosophy “Every Child Matters” under pins everything that we do, our approach is caring, loving and supportive to the needs of the children and all stakeholders involved.

Essential Skills:
Educate and guide the team to incorporate an element of ‘beauty’ into the physical environment
Ability to guide, mentor and manage educators to provide a high-quality educational program
Ability to think strategically
Ability to energise and motivate the team
Ability to showcase your passion for the Reggio Emilia approach
Key requirements:
Diploma of Children Services or higher
Three – Five years’ experience as a teacher, Room Leader or Educational Leader
First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
Working with children check
Strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
