EllieB’s is seeking a Finance Officer to support the financial operations of our organisation, ensuring compliance with NDIS regulations and maintaining accurate financial records. You will play a key role in billing, invoicing, claims submission, and financial reconciliation, contributing to the seamless execution of our NDIS services.

Key Responsibilities
Assist operational staff with NDIS invoicing and transactional services
Reconcile inter-entity bank accounts and confirm balance receivables
Manage accounts receivable, including payment processing for plan management
Prepare and submit claims to the NDIS portal, reporting financial results
Monitor participant funding allocations, ensuring services align with their plans
Maintain accurate and timely billing in line with NDIS guidelines
Prepare, review, and monitor brokerage, NDIS quotes, and DCP contracts
Liaise with Support Coordinators and Plan nominees on financial matters
Generate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
Support the Management Accountant as required
Maintain up-to-date financial records and reports
Assist with accounts payable and the preparation of financial statements
Analyse financial data, identifying trends and providing recommendations
Ensure regulatory compliance with financial standards and industry best practices
Utilize financial software, including Xero and custom databases, for NDIS finances
About You
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar finance role
Experience with NDIS invoicing and plan management
Strong understanding of financial principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Xero, and financial software
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Ability to solve financial challenges and ensure compliance
National Police Clearance, NDIS & Working with Children Checks
Successful medical assessment (arranged via our partner)
