Remuneration: ASO7 ($108,109 - $116,864 per annum) +11.5% Superannuation
Role Details
The Department for Child Protection is seeking a Lead Project Officer to join on a full-time term basis to provide high level strategic leadership and expertise.
The role is responsible for:
Lead and manage the design and rollout of Out of Home Care projects to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Coordinate the implementation of sensitive, complex and innovative strategies affecting service-wide operations.
Engage with stakeholders to develop governance documents, provide operational guidance, report on emerging issues, and support effective information exchange.
Offer expert advice and build strong consultative relationships with key partners, including DCP Executive, departmental staff and other government bodies.
Support ongoing policy development through the preparation of briefings, advocacy materials, and project proposals for Executive and senior management.
To be successful:
You'll have the ability to identify and deliver strategic and operational outcomes in a sensitive and complex environment.
You will also be able to work under broad direction while managing conflicting priorities to meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
Your high-level interpersonal skills, along with your ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a range of internal and external stakeholders, will be key to your success.
Significant experience in developing and leading partnership initiatives, incorporating stakeholder engagement and participation, is essential.
