Our client, one of Australia’s successful FMCG organisation, driven by continued growth, this role is crucial to driving their end-to-end supply chain & demand planning. Based in the Southeastern Suburbs, the successful candidate will play a vital part in optimising supply chain and by providing proactive support to Planning and Procurement.

This position assists the Supply Chain & Demand Manager and contributes to all end-to-end supply chain and demand planning activities, including, but not limited to:

· Accurately forecasting demand of multiple SKUs

· Quantifying production runs based on seasonal demand and stocks on hand.

· Sourcing and ordering of raw materials and packaging items required for production cycles.

· Production cost reconciliations, analysing inventory flow and managing to optimal finished goods inventory levels.

· Manage and process finished goods out through administering purchase orders in a timely manner.

· Pallet and equipment hire management.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Planning

· Develop and manage supply forecasts that align with demand, sales trends, and seasonal changes.

· Develop, monitor, and maintain Master production and planning schedules.

· Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.

· Anticipate demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.

· Periodically review internal & external forecasts

· Understand material and capacity constraints.

· Provide feedback to senior management regarding supply capabilities and potential issues.

· Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods stocks.

· Prepare monthly production runs based on current sales demand, stocks on hand and periodical export orders.

· Coordinate with Senior management.

· Process sales orders from multiple customers, distributors, and sales channels.

· Book and track shipments with multiple freight providers from dispatch through to delivery.

· Develop inventory strategies for existing products, new products, and product phase-outs,

· Build strong relationships with external suppliers.

· Identify and mitigate potential risks to the demand plan, such as supply chain disruptions and develop contingency plans to address risks.

Inventory Control

Oversee day-to-day inventory management across all SKUs and warehouses.

Implement stock control procedures that reduce waste and improve accuracy.

Lead stocktakes and reconciliations with warehouse team to ensure system reflects reality.

Monitor product movement and storage efficiency to keep operations smooth.

Purchase Order Management

Raise and manage purchase orders based on forecasted demand and stock coverage across multiple raw material and packaging items.

Prepare monthly production costs reconciliations.

Build and maintain great relationships with suppliers, warehouse, and transport providers.

Track supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues.

Arrange shipping schedules and prepare export documentation for export orders.

Manage & maintain Pallet and Equipment Hire Issues and Returns in a super timely manner.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Partner with Logistics, Quality, and Commercial teams to keep the supply chain flowing.

Proactively communicate risks, changes, or opportunities to senior management.

Provide regular updates to senior management on stock levels, supplier performance, and key metrics.

Arrange JIT raw material and packaging deliveries.

Arrange DIFOT for all finished goods orders to attain maximum customer satisfaction.

Skills & Experience

· Proven experience in demand planning or related roles within the FMCG or consumer goods industry will be looked at favourably.

· Familiarity with FMCG market dynamics preferred.

· Demonstrated ability and strong analytical and numerical skills.
