About the role
Our Resilient Families program delivers targeted, voluntary child protection services to families with children who are at high risk of entering or escalating within the statutory child protection system. The program aims to reduce risks and strengthen families to reduce the number of children entering Out of Home Care.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Social Worker, Psychologist, Case Worker or Case Manager to become a Senior Case Manager within our Family Preservation Program. You will be a part of a multi-disciplinary team of Social Workers, Case Managers and Psychologists with a supportive Management and Practice Leadership Unit to support you.
Duties
Undertake an initial assessment of family strengths and needs.
Develop case plans that build on the family’s resilience.
Support Child and Family Practitioners in performing their role in this program; assisting them in preparation for visits and delivery of the service, especially with the management of more complex cases, including support at visits, meetings, and to resolve more challenging situations.
Collaborate with the other Senior Child & Family Practitioners to deliver monthly coaching to the entire Child and Family Practitioners team in the Central Sydney Family Preservation Program.
Support the senior team with program and process development, review, and implementation.

Skills and Experience
We want you to be successful in your new role! This means, as an experienced Social Worker, Psychologist, Case Worker or Case Manager you will have:
4+ years experience in delivering Child Protection services to vulnerable families.
Excellent IT skills and ability to use technology in service delivery.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Ability to work remotely.
High level of professional accountability and integrity and a belief that every parent has potential.
A relevant degree qualification and current driver’s license.
