The successful candidate will work as part of Information Management and Security Team, in the Strategy and Transformation unit. You will be part of a team that is focused on building a culture focused on information as an asset, that is information that is created, managed, shared and utilised securely across a range of systems and customer groups.

This role primarily supports the Strategy and Transformation unit by consulting with key stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements especially as they relate to management of information flows and processes, support maturity uplift and standardisation of business analysis practice, promote alignment with architectural direction, and recommend solutions to meet business needs.

Your key responsibilities

• Investigate, define and analyse business requirements using standard practice techniques, methods and tools to improve service delivery outcomes in accordance with business direction (REQM & BUSA 4)
• Facilitate meetings and workshops with multi-disciplinary teams to elicit requirements, evaluate processes, and identify continuous improvement opportunities (CNSL 4).
• Consult and collaborate in development, maintenance, and implementation of business analysis practices and advance the Business Analysis Working Group and community of practice. These collectively contribute to achieving business outcomes while ensuring alignment with department and Queensland Government enterprise architectures and acknowledged industry best practice (METL 4).
