DoE’s Infrastructure Services Division (ISD) manages an annual portfolio exceeding $2 billion and a $40 billion asset base. The Division is currently undertaking a multi-year transformation program to uplift its portfolio and financial management capabilities—presenting a rare opportunity to join a high-impact, greenfield initiative at a foundational stage.

The Opportunity

u&u Recruitment Partners is proud to be partnering with the Queensland Department of Education to recruit two experienced Senior Business Analysts for a strategic business transformation program.

As part of the newly formed Program Support Office, you’ll play a key role in designing and implementing frameworks that support infrastructure delivery, uplift maturity, and improve decision-making. Working closely with technical BAs, change managers, and executive leadership, this is a strategic, people-focused role ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity and can confidently guide transformation from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead business analysis activities to support transformation delivery;
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement across ISD;
• Develop documentation including traceability matrices and process maps;
• Support change readiness and business process improvements; and
• Collaborate with project and change teams to deliver uplift objectives.

Required Experience

This is a senior-level role suited to a confident and collaborative Business Analyst with strong transformation and stakeholder management experience, particularly within government or infrastructure environments.

You will bring:

• 5+ years’ experience in business analysis across complex programs;
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies;
• Proficiency in BPMN process modelling and documentation standards;
• Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills; and
• Ability to support business readiness and lead change in ambiguous settings.
