The role

• Ensure timely completion of end-of-month processes for accurate accounting and reporting.
• Reconcile monthly hardware and service revenue.
• Calculate and accrue monthly customer rebates, obtaining approval from Sales Managers before requesting the AR team to issue a credit note to the customer.
• Post fixed and ad hoc GL journals as proposed by the Finance Manager and Finance Director.
• Reconcile balance sheets for 2 different entities.
• Complete the reconciliation of the fixed asset depreciation run when needed.
• Provide variance commentary for month-end financial statements.
• Complete month-end analytical reports, including freight and inventory dashboards.
• Run daily sales reports using QV and SAP.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations.
• Assist with yearly audit requests, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
• Update IFRS 16 details for long-term leases using IRIS software.
• Facilitate and have an understanding of the cash flow requirements for our weekly cash flow report.
• Submit to Group finance the monthly cash disclosures file
• Assist in completing the Year End Reporting package
• Gain exposure to the yearly budgeting process and monthly reforecast.

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Accountant/ Financial Accountant/ Assistant Accountant Position.
• Experience with SAP
• Intermediate on excell (vlookups and pivot tables)
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Great can do attitude, attention to detail and problem solving skills
