The Role:

We're working with a growing, dynamic organization to recruit an Assistant Accountant for a 3-month contract. In this role, you'll support the finance team with key accounting tasks and contribute to process improvements that will help scale operations. The position offers a flexible hybrid working model and great exposure to a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end and year-end reporting activities
• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
• Reconcile bank statements and key balance sheet accounts
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Help identify opportunities for streamlining processes and improving efficiency

About You:

You're detail-oriented, eager to learn, and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Progressing toward CPA or CA qualification is highly regarded
• Previous experience in a similar Assistant Accountant or Accounts Officer role
• Proficient with accounting software and confident in Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset
