About the role

As a Demolition Excavator Operator at AJ Demolito', you will play a crucial role in the company's residential demolition projects. Working full-time in our Adelaide, South Australia location. You will operate heavy machinery to safely and efficiently demolish structures, clear sites, and prepare for new construction. What you'll be doing

Operate demolition excavators to safely and effectively demolish buildings, clear sites, and prepare for new construction

Work closely with the demolition team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards

Perform regular maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety

Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations to protect yourself, your colleagues, and the community

Collaborate with the wider team to identify ways to improve efficiency and productivity

What we're looking for

Several years of experience operating heavy machinery, particularly demolition excavators, in a construction or demolition environment

Strong knowledge of construction and demolition techniques, as well as relevant health and safety regulations

Ability to work well in a team, communicate effectively, and follow instructions

Commitment to maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible work environment

Relevant licences and certifications, such as a high-risk work licence for operating excavators
