About the role

Urban Earthworks Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our dynamic team on a casual basis. Depot is based in Newton, SA 5074, this role is responsible for operating and maintaining excavators to support our construction projects. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient and safe completion of our earthworks operations throughout various worksite around Adelaide metro areas.

What you'll be doing

Operate excavators and in a safe and efficient manner to carry out a variety of earthmoving tasks

Perform pre-start checks and routine maintenance on assigned equipment

Work collaboratively with the construction team to achieve project goals

Comply with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to equipment usage and maintenance

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as an Excavator Operator in the construction industry

Competent in drilling piers and reading site plans and interpreting job requirements

Ability to work safely and efficiently in a dynamic construction environment

Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in performing routine equipment maintenance

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Relevant construction equipment operator's licence or certification

Essential own vehicle and car licence to get to Newton Depot.
