My FootDr Hope Island is looking for an enthusiastic Retail Sales & Podiatry Admin Assistant to join our friendly and dynamic team!

This all-rounder role blends retail, sales, administration, and patient support—perfect for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Strong retail sales experience is essential, and while medical administration experience is advantageous, it’s not required—full training will be provided.

Located in the picturesque Hope Island Marina on the stunning Gold Coast, the My FootDr Hope Island team delivers professional podiatry and quality foot care to the local community and surrounding suburbs. We are proudly part of the Healthia Group, a national network of Allied Health professionals, with over 300 practices across Australia and New Zealand.

Your Role

As our Retail Sales & Podiatry Admin Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for patients and play a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations. Your responsibilities will span across front-desk duties, customer service, and retail footwear sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Retail & Footwear Sales: Provide expert fitting and tailored product recommendations to help customers find the perfect footwear.

Customer Service: Create a warm, welcoming experience for every patient; deliver outstanding customer care at every step.

Admin Support: Manage appointments, patient records, billing, and payments efficiently.

Clinic Operations: Assist with podiatrist support, instrument sterilisation, and general clinic upkeep.

Team Training & Support: Assist in mentoring and supporting junior team members with retail and sales.

About You

Full Australian Working Rights

Willing to work 15–20 hours per week (flexibility may be required).

Strong retail sales experience is essential (footwear retail experience highly regarded).

Previous retail management experience or team mentoring/supervising is a plus.

Confident in training and supporting others.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong multitasking abilities and time management.

Friendly, proactive, and team-oriented attitude.

Comfortable learning new systems; basic computer skills required.
