About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team at The Fitting Room On Edward' in Brisbane, QLD. This part-time role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your retail skills and contribute to the success of our thriving made to measure tailoring store. This is an important and thriving part of our business where we offer high quality suits and dresses tailor made with our Clients chosen design and fabrics.

What you'll be doing

Providing exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection, fitting and purchasing

Maintaining a well-organised and visually appealing store environment

Efficiently processing sales transactions and handling cash and card payments

Assisting with stock management, including receiving, unpacking, and replenishing merchandise

Collaborating with the team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store

Assisting in any on-line enquiries and follow-up appointments via emails and phone calls.

Assisting in any VIP events in the showroom.

Assisting in photoshoot campaigns and fashion showcase

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the fashion industry

Passion for tailoring and suiting, some experience in this industry will be highly regarded.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and provide a high level of service

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain a well-organised and visually appealing store

Enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a passion for fashion and delivering an exceptional customer experience

Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
