Cooling and Heating Equipment Pty Ltd are seeking a Technical Salesperson. Working within a small team this role requires a person who will be able sell commercial Air Handling Units, Fan Coil Units, Chillers and Fans.

Ideally the successful candidate will need chilled water AHU/FCU design and quoting experience, but not essential as full training will be given but a technical aptitude and computer skills will be required. They will require the competencies to develop long term business relationships in the commercial and industrial HVAC sectors.

Key responsibilities:

Providing competitive quotations to Mechanical Contractors, using a sophisticated AHU/FCU selection programme and following detailed specifications

Managing accounts to achieve sales.

Securing listing of CHE products on tender specifications with Consulting Engineers.

Dealing with technical queries and sales presentations.

Networking within industry to provide effective feedback on market state-of-affairs.

Assist in the unpacking of containers and loading trucks, training in use of a forklift truck will be provided.

The preferred candidate will:

Hold tertiary level qualifications in Mechanical/HVAC Engineering or equivalent industry experience.

Graduate engineers and HVAC trades people are encouraged to apply.

Have experience or be prepared to learn the preparation of quotation and tender documents.

Have practical and theoretical knowledge on air conditioning components and general operating function.

Have information technology competency in Microsoft Office and gmail.
