Wings Early Learning Algester is a brand new, purpose-built 100 place early learning centre committed to providing high-quality early education and care.
Centre Facilities
The new centre features state-of-the-art facilities, including large outdoor play areas, beautiful solid timber furniture and unique learning resources. At Wings Early Learning we don’t just provide educators with all the tools needed to inspire little learners, we have also focused on our staff amenities, so you are looked after!
The centre offers resort-like staff facilities to ensure our team members are well-supported and can enjoy a positive work-life balance. Our staff facilities include:
A fully equipped dedicated staff retreat with a kitchen, comfortable seating and individual lockable lockers for personal belongings
A shower room with towel and laundry service, hair and beauty products and hair blow-dryers and straightener, for staff to freshen up after physical activities or during hot weather
Monthly birthday celebrations for staff to celebrate together
Snacks and treats in the staff room on a regular basis! Including chocolates, chips, donuts, sushi, rice paper rolls, pizza, bakery treats and more!
Tea, Coffee and biscuits in staff room year round.
One hour lunch breaks

We believe family time is important and so are special events. This is why our centres close for a week over Christmas each year, meaning all staff are able to have the break they all deserve with their families, without having to "share" Christmas holidays each year with their team.
Where possible, we also hold all staff meetings during normal work hours, meaning less time away from your loved ones of a week night, and more time to be home and enjoy your families and down time!

Sustainability & Nature Play
We are committed to creating a sustainable environment for our children's future. Our centre will have solar electricity lots of natural gardens in our play spaces and a water tank to harvest rainwater for gardening. In addition, we believe in the importance of nature play for children's development and have incorporated natural elements such as sandpits, built in water play, nature walks through our green spaces, and rocks and logs into our outdoor play area to encourage children's imagination and exploration.
We value sensory and exploratory play and welcome mess and discovery for our children!
Role Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
Recent experience as a Lead Educator in an early childhood education and care setting
A thorough understanding of the EYLF
A minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or studying towards)
A current Blue Card and ACECQA approved First Aid qualifications
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and value customer service
A passion for providing high-quality care and education to children and mentoring educators
Have a long term career view with the opportunity to grow with the business.
We offer a competitive salary package tailored to the successful applicant which may include generous staff discounts and performance incentives. This is a full-time non-contact role which will be complimented with an Educational Leader and Administrator.
