We are looking for Senior & Intermediate Accountants to join our growing team to help manage a portfolio of restructuring and insolvency engagements.
Skills required
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in the restructuring and insolvency industry preferred
- Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualified (or working towards the qualification)
- Good communication skills
- Microsoft Office skills
- Commercial acumen
Day to Day Tasks
Reporting to a manager, the candidate will help to manage a portfolio of liquidations, receiverships, administrations and bankruptcies. This will involve dealing with creditors' enquiries, employee queries regarding their rights, calculate employee entitlements, deal with securing and selling assets, investigating the business and affairs of companies and assist with writing statutory reports to creditors amongst other tasks. Candidates will also have to prepare bank reconciliations, Business Activity Statements and company tax returns as part of their duties.
