About the Role
This position is for an immediate start!
This full-time Intermediate/Senior role is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a firm that values independence and transparency, without the red tape often found in larger organisations.
You will be joining a dynamic, high performing team, and be exposed to a wide variety of Restructuring, Advisory, Corporate and Personal insolvency appointments. The role will also involve:
Reporting directly to a manager and the Liquidator/Trustee;
Daily maintenance and completion of tasks of insolvency files;
Professional and courteous interaction with stakeholders and colleagues;
Commitment to continuous learning to support a full understanding of the firm’s work;
General office duties as required; and
Effective time management and meeting of set deadlines.
About the Candidate
Essential to the role is the development and maintenance of excellent stakeholder relationships, a common-sense approach and an ability to think outside of the box. We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven individual who enjoys a challenge.
To be considered for the role, ideally you will possess:
Relevant corporate/bankruptcy insolvency experience (1 to 3 years);
A desire to work towards CA/CPA and ARITA qualifications;
A keen interest in a career in restructuring/insolvency/turnaround/bankruptcy;
Demonstrated ability to critically analyse issues and develop strategies and solutions that support our firm’s work processes, goals and values;
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including the ability to prepare high quality written documentation as required;
Strong Microsoft Office skills;
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines;
Attention to detail;
Resourceful problem-solving skills;
The ability to demonstrate willingness to be an active and valuable team member;
The desire to learn from an experienced team while working autonomously and proactively; and
Must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident of Australia.
