Brisbane Valley Roasters – Cook Wanted (40 hours across 7 days)

Brisbane Valley Roasters is a family-run café, and we’re looking for a dedicated, hard-working cook to join our team. We believe in looking after and rewarding our staff, creating a safe, happy, and supportive environment where everyone can thrive.

This is a full-time role offering 40 hours per week, spread across 7 days. Our café operates daily from 6:30am to 2:00pm, serving a popular breakfast and lunch menu. We’re a busy spot, especially on weekends – so you’ll need to bring your A-game and be ready for hard work.

About the role:

Preparing and cooking menu items to a high standard

Managing a small kitchen with confidence

Working efficiently during peak periods, especially weekends

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen

Contributing to a positive, team-focused atmosphere

Proven experience in a similar kitchen role

A strong work ethic and reliability – you show up, get the job done, and take pride in your work

The ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure

A commitment to cleanliness and food safety standards

Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends
