Join our successful Catering Services team with Bolton Clarke in Acacia Ridge, your role as Cook will ensure our aged care residents are provided with high quality, nutritious meals. The role is offered 4 days per week, working a 76-hour fortnight. Availability would ideally include Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (5:30 AM to 3:30 PM).

About the role:

• Demonstrated experience in a commercial kitchen
• Support the Chef Manager in meal preparation and kitchen operations
• Perform bulk cooking, food prep, and maintain kitchen hygiene
• Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and legislative standards
• Prepare high-quality, nutritious meals for senior residents, tailored to a range of dietary needs including texture-modified diets.
• Assist with stock control and guide junior kitchen staff

To join us, you'll have:

• Food Handling and Hygiene certificate
• Demonstrated experience in a commercial kitchen within aged care or a hospital desirable
• Bulk cooking experience favourable
• Experience with texture modified food advantageous
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
• Annual Flu Vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
• Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations
