The Opportunity: Sales Representative / Business Development person

We are seeking a self-driven and customer-focused Sales Representative to grow our presence

in the foodservice industry. This role is ideal for someone with a genuine passion for food and

the hospitality sector, who enjoys building lasting relationships and isn’t afraid of a bit of hustle.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain existing customer relationships

Conduct targeted product demonstrations and tastings

Process and manage customer orders

Introduce and support customers with our online ordering system

Prepare weekly activity and sales reports

Create and manage run lists and customer files

Handle customer enquiries and provide knowledgeable support

Report directly to the Sales Manager and management team

Identify and develop new sales opportunities

Work collaboratively within a busy team and independently

Make on-the-spot pricing and ordering decisions

Key Skills & Experience

Proven sales experience in the foodservice or hospitality industry

Strong understanding and passion for food and food products

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in basic computer systems – training provided where required

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage a range of customers

Ability to work independently and within a small team

Solid time management and organisational skills

Potential sub distribution negotiations
