The Opportunity

We’re building the most precise and scalable estimating system in Australian residential renovations — and we’re hiring a lead estimator to take it to the next level.

This is a unique opportunity for a senior estimator who’s ready to step out of traditional systems, work directly with design and construction teams, and lead the refinement of a live quantification platform already running across real projects.

You’ll become the expert behind how we price complex renovation, extension, and addition projects — refining every formula, labour rate, and material output so that we quote smarter, build better, and scale faster.

Compensation Package

Base Salary: $100,000 + super

Performance Bonus: Up to $80,000 (paid quarterly based on impact and outcomes)

Total OTE: $180,000

Setup: High-spec laptop, software access, automation tools, and direct support from design and construction leadership

Location: Perth, WA preferred (relocation support offered for the right candidate)

You’ll take charge of that system, refine how it interprets complex design inputs, and ensure our Bills of Quantities are detailed, defendable, and 100% buildable — on every job.

What You’ll Do

Lead the refinement of our live estimating engine, adjusting backend logic to reflect how complex renovations really work on-site

Manage all Stage 3 quote finalisation, delivering itemised, high-accuracy quotes to clients

Work closely with our architect and design team to ensure BOQs match scope, selections, and engineering

Use real feedback from site supervisors and construction managers to update and improve cost logic

Collaborate with automation and AI specialists to integrate live site data into the estimating loop

Be the go-to expert for all estimating logic as we scale to 100+ projects annually

5+ years in residential construction estimating — ideally renovations, additions, or complex scopes

Understands trade sequencing, construction methodology, and margin structure
