About the Role

This is a permanent, senior-level position suited to an experienced Full Stack Engineer who thrives in a dynamic, IoT-focused environment. You’ll play a critical role in building and enhancing a high-impact mobile application and the cloud-based backend infrastructure that powers real-time device control.

As a senior member of the engineering team, you’ll help shape technical decisions, collaborate across disciplines, and deliver robust, scalable features across both frontend and backend.

Responsibilities

Lead development of a cross-platform React Native mobile app

Build and maintain backend systems using Node.js, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and other serverless tools

Integrate mobile and backend services with IoT platforms for real-time hardware control

Translate firmware and device-level requirements into clean, scalable software features

Own CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and monitoring tools

Mentor junior developers and drive engineering best practices

Collaborate with QA, Product, and Firmware teams in agile sprints

Tech Environment

Mobile: React Native, TypeScript

Backend: Node.js, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch

IoT: AWS IoT Core, MQTT protocols, connected hardware/firmware

Integrations: Voice assistants, home automation ecosystems

DevOps/Tools: GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Jira, TestFlight

Requirements

5+ years of full stack development experience, ideally in mobile and cloud platforms

Strong experience with React Native, Node.js and TypeScript

Demonstrated ability building AWS serverless backends (Lambda, DynamoDB, etc.)

(bonus) Experience with IoT systems or real-time hardware/software integrations

Ability to translate technical specs from firmware or embedded teams into app features

Clear communicator, able to work well in hybrid teams

Comfortable with agile delivery and technical ownership
