Remuneration: ASO3 ($67,589 - $72,033 per annum) + 11.5% Superannuation
The Department for Child Protection is seeking a Senior Research Records Officer to join our Subpoena/Freedom of Information Team.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Providing timely and detailed advice to callers on freedom of information, subpoena and other information related enquiries.
Assisting Business Support Officers with complex customer enquiries.
Conducting research, across multiple systems, collating and editing material to comply with the scope of information requests.
Managing workload priorities in a high-volume, time-critical and complex setting.
Maintaining file management, data in computerised systems and ensure records are up to date by accurately entering information.
Liaising with internal staff and State Records regarding the retrieval of historical and sensitive documentation.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Be able to manage a high and varied workload, work under pressure, organise priorities, meet deadlines and take initiative.
Have the ability to provide effective solutions by identifying and analysing problems through investigation, research and consultation.
Be able to work under limited direction, within broadly defined guidelines, both autonomously and in a team environment.
Have the ability to follow procedures and processes to avoid errors, take corrective action to minimise mistakes, and have high attention to detail.
