About the role

Reporting into the Head of Service, this is an excellent opportunity to join the Tony White Group as a Tyre and Wheel Alignment Manager. In this full-time role based in a Melbourne Northern Suburbs location, you will be responsible for the tyre and wheel alignment services for a busy automotive dealership.

What you'll be doing

Implement the day-to-day operations of the tyre and wheel alignment workshop, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient workflows

Provide technical expertise and guidance to the workshop team, troubleshooting vehicle issues and ensuring high-quality workmanship

Maintain inventory of tyres and alignment equipment, purchasing new stock as required

Develop and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance productivity

Analyse performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management

Foster a positive, collaborative team environment and provide coaching and mentoring to workshop technicians

Ensure full compliance with all relevant safety, quality and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Tyre and Wheel Alignment Technician or Manager in the automotive industry, with a focus on Hunter branded equipment

Strong technical expertise in tyre fitment, wheel alignment and related vehicle systems

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to liaise with clients in a professional manner

Proven track record of leading and motivating a team to achieve operational goals

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and implement process improvements

Excellent time management and organisational skills to coordinate workshop activities

Relevant trade qualifications and/or certifications in automotive technology
