The Role
We’re looking for a passionate and purpose-driven Team Leader / Retail Manager to take the reins of our Ocean Grove ProFeet Footwear store — leading your team, inspiring great customer experiences, and creating a strong sense of community by keeping them active, healthy and happy.
This role is more than just running a store — you’ll be coaching your team, shaping the customer experience, managing daily operations, and building relationships that matter. What You’ll Do
Lead & Coach a High-Performing Team

Build an inclusive, respectful team culture grounded in trust, growth, and accountability

Coach team members on everything from product knowledge to career development

Build & support the team through 1 : 1 check ins, regular feedback and provide on-the-floor mentoring

Own the onboarding and training journey for new hires

Collaborate on the store roster and help your team balance efficiency with flexibility

Deliver an Exceptional Customer Experience

Be a role model on the floor — guiding fittings, educating customers, and solving problems with empathy and confidence

Help customers find comfort, support, and confidence in every pair they try

Share the “why” behind what we do — from in-house referrals to Podiatry education

Make every visit smooth, helpful, and memorable — because we can always help

Grow Local Community Connections

Build strong referral networks with health professionals, gyms, small businesses, and local partners

Represent ProFeet at local events — in your merch, on your feet, and in the community

Be proactive in finding new ways to connect, serve, and grow the local footprint (pun intended)

Run the Store Like It’s Your Own

Own the daily operations

Ensure stock control is tight and efficient — ordering, receiving, and displaying product in a way that aligns with customer demand and sales trends.

Manage client orders & communication - make sure each human receives our worldclass experience.

Own your role through managing and measuring store success based on key KPI’s.

Keep things running smoothly, safely, and in line with all policies and procedures

Job Details

Position: Full-time (38 hours per week)

Store hours: Mon–Fri 9:30am–6pm, Sat 9:30am–5pm

Flexible hours available in collaboration with the leadership team
