The Manager ICT Governance key responsibilities are:
- Provide effective inter and intra departmental liaison on behalf of the Chief Information Officer, with a range of stakeholders including Senior Executives and Ministerial offices, clients, external organisations and other government departments.
- Coordinate and develop complex reports, submissions, proposals, audit responses and briefing notes requiring responses and contribute a strategic perspective where appropriate, on behalf of the Chief Information Officer and Senior Executives within the business.
- Coordinate the Estimates process for the division, liaising with the office of the Director-General and other key Senior Executive offices within the departments to provide briefs and supporting documentation to Senior Executives of all supported agencies.
- Coordinate and manage all ICT related internal and external audits, reports and responses in a timely manner, ensuring ongoing implementation and monitoring of all recommendations.
- Obtain relevant advice and maintain liaison with key areas of the Department and external executive stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of policy and procedural matters referred for action.
- Manage the provision of executive assistance and administration services to support the Chief Information.
- Have a sound understanding and knowledge of, or the ability to gain an understanding of whole of government ICT frameworks and governance mechanisms, and Programs and Projects Management Frameworks and methodologies.
- A holistic understanding of the business and how ICT provides critical support and services to meet the department's vision and government priorities.
- Undertake complex ad-hoc research and provide high level communication of advice and analysis to the Chief Information Officer.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders across the department and other government agencies ensuring effective governance.
