Duties and Responsibilities:
Organising, overseeing and controlling the operation of our restaurant
Managing your team, including selecting, training, performance reviews, rostering waiting and kitchen staff
Leading your team to provide a great service experience
Ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard
Ordering stock from various suppliers, arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
Managing daily and weekly cleaning of the restaurant as required
Ensuring safety and security standards are recognised and upheld, and that kitchen and waiting staff are effectively trained in Workplace Health and Safety
Planning menus in consultation with Chefs and kitchen staff and organising special functions or promotional activities
maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
may take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders

What you 'll bring
AQF Associate degree required, bachelor degree preferred

At least 2 years of previous restaurant management experience (chinese background restaurant preferred) Passionate about building a positive culture within the restaurant– focused on exceptional customer service, working together, helping those in need
