APPAREL DESIGNER – WORKWEAR

This is the gig for the designer who’s ready, not for the one who already thinks they’ve made it.

We’re hiring for a serious player in the workwear space. They’re young, fast, and dominating a niche that used to be stale. This brand builds high-performance gear that tradies actually want to wear—and their design team is core to that success.

They’re not after a 20-year vet with a folio full of hi-vis relics. They want the next wave.

You might be:

2–4 years into your career, as a design assistant or sample coordinator.

From a workwear brand, a uniform house, or maybe even streetwear—doesn’t matter, as long as you get product.

Obsessed with fit, finish, and function.

Sick of being on the sidelines and ready to take the lead.

What you’ll do:

Research fabrics, trims, and design elements that drive the brand forward.

Sketch concepts, build tech packs, and help manage sample development.

Collaborate with suppliers (both local and offshore) to develop a product that performs effectively.

Join a team that’s quick to reward good work with real ownership.

You’ll need:

At least 2+ years in apparel design or product development (ideally with functional gear)

Confidence in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

Some Excel chops

A real eye, not just software skills

A degree in fashion or textiles
