We work closely with some of the industry’s best employers, and right now we’re recruiting for a well-established commercial joinery firm with a strong pipeline of high-end projects. Their workshop and install teams are sharp, their clients are loyal, and they’re ready to bring in a Production Manager to help them run at full capacity.

This is a hands-on leadership role with real scope. You’ll be responsible for keeping the production floor moving efficiently from start to finish. That means checking and managing shop drawings, overseeing the drafting process, ordering materials, and working closely with install crews to make sure everything lands on time. You’ll be backed by a team of experienced trades, drafters and subcontractors, but you’ll be the one holding it together.

What you’ll be doing:

Managing all production activity from drawings to delivery

Reviewing shop drawings and ensuring machine files are accurate

Overseeing a remote drafter and providing clear direction

Running supply-only jobs from start to finish

Ordering materials and coordinating procurement

Liaising with install teams, site managers and subcontractors

Providing general support and troubleshooting across multiple jobs

Keeping a cool, practical and structured approach under pressure

What we’re looking for:

Background in cabinet making, joinery or shopfitting

Confident communicator and comfortable leading others

Microvellum experience is ideal, but any CAD exposure is useful

Highly organised and detail-oriented

Comfortable owning outcomes and coordinating between teams

Able to move between workshop and site as needed
