Cire’s Wellbeing Specialists support a positive wellbeing culture, making a difference to our students' lives and educational outcomes.
About the role
Cire Community School is a leader in delivering innovative programs to students from Years 7 to 12 who have disengaged from education. The Community School offers an alternative to mainstream schooling, supporting some of the region's most vulnerable and marginalised young people.
Our Student Wellbeing Specialists support a positive wellbeing culture at Cire Community School. This involves supporting students requiring assistance with their wellbeing needs on a day-to-day basis, encouraging engagement, providing interventions and referrals, working with external professionals and student support groups, liaising with parents/guardians and providing programs to student groups.
Working as a team, you will collaborate with students, teachers and learning support professionals to establish strategies that support self-regulation, assisting students to actively participate in their learning. Your days will be varied, always active and working with purpose to support the overall wellbeing of Cire students.
Please note this is a permanent part-time opportunity, 4 days per week (Mon, Tue, Thurs and Friday's) at our Lilydale Campus.
