Sourcing & Contracts Specialist

NES Fircroft is working with an ASX listed mining company who are looking for an experienced sourcing specialist to join their Perth Office on a permanent basis

The Role
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, this key role will provide expertise and strategic focus to the procurement of your specific portfolio of goods and services, ensuring that all activities support the objectives around optimising costs, quality, and supplier performance.

Key responsibilities include
• Lead the end-to-end sourcing to contract process including RFx drafting and issuing, RFx clarifications, commercial evaluation, negotiations, award and contract formation
• Provide contract advice to relevant end users and stakeholders.
• Prepare contractual documentation.
• Provide post award contract management services to the end users on an as required basis through to contract closeout or practical completion stage

Your demonstrated passion for driving successful outcomes across your portfolio, along with a genuine and proactive attitude to identifying potential opportunities, will see you as a much-valued member of the team.
Key skills, experience & attributes include:
• Extensive experience in a similar role, ideally within the mining industry, is essential to the success of this role
• Demonstrated ability in the development and implementation of sourcing strategies for both goods and services contracts.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively in a team, as well as autonomously
