Trades Assistant - Mechanical

• $40 per hour + overtime + super
• 4 months work with possibility of extension

The Company

Our client, whose engineering and service excellence has been proven time and again across a range of enterprises offers a great opportunity for project work at a large well-reknowned FMCG business. Each and every project they undertake is delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with de-assembly and re-assembly of production lines.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure that all products meet the highest standards
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, with safety compliance in order

The successful candidate will require the following attributes:

• Proven track record of doing mechanical T.A work
• Current valid forklift licence
• Current valid white card
• Knowledge of mechanical systems
• Demonstrate a positive, proactive and motivated attitude to work
• Physically fit with the ability to work effectively in a multi-skilled environment
• Position may be subject to a medical assessment, including a drug & alcohol screening

Hours & rates:

Day shift hours: Monday - Friday, 6.00am - 2.30pm,
Rate: $40 per hour + overtime + super
