About the role

United Recruiting Solutions is seeking experienced Trade Assistants, Cabinet Makers, and Shop Fitters for casual positions based in Dandenong South, VIC. Our client is a well established market leader in manufacturing, Modifications & designs of shop fit outs and display Units. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable and growing company in the Shop Fitting & Cabinet Making industry.

Standard hours will be 7:30am to 4pm Mon-Thurs with Friday finish 1pm.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the construction and installation of cabinets and display units

Performing general trade duties in a workshop

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Utilising hand and power tools to undertake a variety of woodworking tasks

Maintaining a clean and safe work area

Collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality work

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a trade assistant, cabinet making, or shop fitting role

Strong practical skills and the ability to read and interpret technical plans

Knowledge of carpentry and woodworking techniques and methods

Proficient in the use of hand and power tools

Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
