About the Company:

I'm partnering with a well-established organisation based in Melbourne CBD who is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to enhance their skill set and takes pride in accurate and compliance payroll.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing as well as any adhoc duties and testing:

• Process end to end multiple payroll cycles, efficiently and in a timely manner
• Interpreting awards and EBA's
• Understand and perform Super and Tax calculations
• Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and audits
• Answer Payroll queries when necessary
• Process leave calculations including maternity, annual and personal leave etc.
  

Skills and Experience

• 2+ year's experience in a similar end to end role is essential
• Strong understanding of Australian legislation and compliance
• Experience with Employment Hero, Chris21 or Preceda would be preferred
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently
