The Role
We are seeking a bilingual (English and French) Call Center Operator to join our call center at Vuly HQ. In this role, you will handle all inbound and outbound calls, as well as email and order support, for our North American customer base. You will report directly to the Australian Director of Sales and receive personal training from our Australian-based team.
You will be the first point of contact for customers—whether it’s helping them choose their dream product or supporting them in setting it up for a special day! French translation is also a required part of the role.
Primary responsibilities:
Answer all inbound calls related to customer orders and queries.
Return voicemails to address customer inquiries.
Respond to email queries and process customer orders through our POS system.
Take credit card payments over the phone.
Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
Provide quality service and support in areas including (but not limited to) returns, warranty claims, troubleshooting, and other after-sales enquiries.
Assist customers with spare part orders, including directing them to appropriate retailers.
Translate documents and communications between English and French as needed.
Requirements and skills:
Fluency in both English and French (spoken and written) is essential.
Strong phone and verbal communication skills, with active listening.
Previous call center experience is desirable but not essential—retail or customer service experience will also be highly regarded.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
A customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering quality interactions.
Schedule:
8-hour shifts
Night shift (ranging from 9PM start to 10 AM finish)
Monday to Sunday availability required
