I'm on the hunt for a highly experienced and capable Payroll & Accounts Officer to join a well-established, family-owned and operated construction business.

They're known for delivering high-quality projects across education, healthcare, aged care, heritage restoration, and high-end fit-outs, and they take real pride in doing things the right way.

About You

You’re experienced, organised, and enjoy variety in your day. You take ownership of your work, operate well without micromanagement, and thrive in a small, close-knit environment.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• A Cert IV or Diploma in Accounting or Bookkeeping (or equivalent)
• Prior experience in the field of construction
• Strong MS Office skills (experience using Iprospft is highly desirable)
• Confidence with end-to-end finance functions
• A proactive mindset and strong attention to detail
• Great communication skills and a collaborative approach

About the Role

This is a broad and autonomous finance position where you’ll keep the financial operations running smoothly. Your day-to-day will include:

• Payroll processing
• BAS preparation
• Subcontractor and supplier payments
• Customer invoicing (Debtors)
• End-of-month reconciliations
• Managing insurances and credit applications
• Supporting with ad hoc finance and admin tasks as needed
