About the role:
In this role, you’ll take the reins of the Accounts Receivable function, managing levies, revenue billings, collections, and reconciliations. You’ll also oversee compliance reviews for accounts payable and procurement, ensuring strict adherence to controls and processes. As a key contact within the finance team, you will play a central role in financial management and liaise with external auditors to ensure everything is in order.

What you will do:

Manage all aspects of accounts receivable, including billing, invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and record maintenance.

Conduct annual testing of the billing engine and resolve any related issues.

Lead compliance checks for accounts payable, including fortnightly payment runs and quarterly reviews.

Assist with ad-hoc financial requests, reporting, and analysis.

Collaborate with external auditors and ensure compliance with financial policies and legislation.

What you will bring:

A keen eye for detail and strong time management skills to handle high-volume tasks effectively and with problem-solving approach.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work with stakeholders at all levels.

Ideally, experience with Financial Management Information Systems (Oracle - AR, billing engine, and AP) and knowledge of relevant compliance legislation.

Tertiary qualifications in finance or accounting will be highly regarded.
