Global Soil Systems, a leading environmental consultancy and contractor specialising in mine site revegetation and rehabilitation, is seeking a passionate and experienced Bush Regeneration/Land Management Team Member for a permanent role at a mine site in Muswellbrook.

Wages start at $82,000 per year plus super for a Monday to Friday 48-hour work week.

Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing rehabilitated and buffer lands, as well as maintenance of access tracks and other site infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have:

Qualifications in Conservation, Bush Regeneration, Land Management, Horticulture, Landscaping, Environmental Science or similar.

Strong plant identification skills and knowledge of weed management techniques.

Proficiency in operating small plant and equipment such as backpack sprayers, brush cutters and high volume spray units.

Current AQF3 chemical handling accreditation.

High level of fitness and 4x4 driving experience.

Excellent communication and organizational skills to liaise with clients and plan work.

The successful candidate must be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical and police reference check.
