Doorunga is seeking Bush Regeneration a Team Member to join the project under the direction of the Project Manager that are passionate about Bush Regeneration and would like to participate in making a difference.

Suitable candidates must address the following selection criteria and skill attributes.

Essential Skills:

Ability to travel to and work in the Liverpool region.

Self-motivated, proactive, use initiative and be able to have a laugh.

Have a passion for practical environmental restoration and weed management with previous bush regeneration experience.

Intermediate weed identification, native plant identification skills, or willingness to proactively learn in lieu of.

Proven ability to work in remote bushland under various weather conditions and terrain.

Adequate level of physical fitness required for manual weed removal

Ability to walk long distances and lift a 10kg load.

Class C driver’s license.

AQF3 chemical application qualifications

National Police Check.

Ability to undertake Defence Security clearance process.

Ability to undertake and pass a pre- employment medical.

Australian Citizenship is a requirement.

Desirable Skills:

Qualifications in Conservation and Land Management desirable or environmental related discipline, (or) working towards related discipline.

Experience in or willingness to learn IT platforms such as ARCGIS, Survey 123 and associated software.

Current First Aid Certificate.

Demonstrated experience in high-volume herbicide spraying units and back-pack sprayers.
