Redeployment Advisor - NSW Government

Location: Parramatta / WFH – Hybrid
Anticipated assignment length: ASAP – 19th December 2025
Pay Rate: $600 - $700 per day + Super
Hours: 8 hours/day | 40 hours/week | Monday - Friday

About the Role:

As a Redeployment Advisor, you will provide expert support, helping employees explore new opportunities within the organisation or transition to external roles. You'll work closely with impacted employees and key stakeholders to ensure smooth redeployment processes, career guidance, and strategic workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Employee Support & Career Guidance: Assess employees’ skills and aspirations to identify suitable roles and career pathways.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with hiring managers and HR teams to match employees with suitable opportunities.
• Managing Sensitive Conversations: Provide empathetic and professional support to employees experiencing career transitions.
• Issue Resolution & Escalation: Address redeployment challenges and escalate sensitive cases where necessary.
• Tracking & Follow-up: Monitor progress, provide feedback, and ensure successful employee placements.

What You’ll Need:

• Experience in HR, career coaching, or redeployment, with a background in workforce transition or a similar advisory role
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to engage effectively with employees and stakeholders
• A high level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and resilience to support individuals through change
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant qualifications in HR, Organisational Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
