About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Head Barista to lead our espresso bar at Good Things Grocer. This full-time role (Tuesday to Saturday) is perfect for someone who’s as serious about great coffee as they are about creating a positive team and customer experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leading and training a team of baristas to deliver consistently excellent coffee and service

Overseeing daily operations: inventory, scheduling, and quality control

Creating new menu items and seasonal specials to keep things fresh

Fostering a fun, supportive, and collaborative environment

Building strong relationships with customers and the local community

Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

What We’re Looking For

2+ years in a Head or Senior Barista role (ideally in a fast-paced café setting)

Strong leadership, multitasking, and customer service skills

Confident communicator who thrives in a team environment

Food safety certification

Calm, capable, and great with customer feedback or tricky situations
