Are you passionate about hospitality, upskilling others, and enhancing guest experiences? Join the Stellarossa family as a Barista & Guest Experience Trainer and help drive excellence across our franchise network. This role is based from our HQ in Kelvin Grove, but will require considerable driving travel to our SEQ cafe locations as well as occasional plane travel to regional areas.

Position Overview:
As the Barista & Guest Experience Trainer, your primary focus will be to provide ongoing training, mentoring, and upskilling to Franchise Partners and their cafe teams. You’ll play a crucial role in enhancing beverage quality, front-of-house operations and guest experience. This role is ideal for someone with a background in hospitality who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working closely with franchise partners and cafe team members to deliver tangible improvements in performance, and help hospo teams meet their potential and love what they do every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver regular FOH training, including barista skills, upselling techniques, and guest experience best practices.
- Ensure all Franchise Partners and team members receive timely training and demonstrate measurable improvement
- Collaborate with the Systems & Operations Manager and General Manager to upskill Stellarossa teams to align with corporate goals
- Support and train new franchise partners in their cafe business ownership journey
- Drive initiatives to increase the guest experience across all Stellarossa Cafe & Drive Thru locations
- Maintain consistent reporting and documentation
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior customer-facing service role.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior barista role, with excellent coffee knowledge and passion.
- Full Driver’s Licence and own reliable vehicle.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and provide coaching.
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest service and a strong understanding of the Australian café market.
- Vibrant, engaging and charismatic personality with ability to influence and inspire to bring the best out of people.
Desirable Skills:
- Confidence with POS systems
- Comfortable using a range of digital tools and software (training on our particular software will be provided)
- Passion or skill in Training and developing people

Salary:
The annual salary for the role is $65,000 plus car allowance for all work related travel, phone allowance, laptop, superannuation and tools of the trade.
