Finance Business Partner – Drive Commercial Success in a Key Strategic Role

Redland is seeking a Finance Business Partner to work closely with our commercial, production, and processing teams, providing valuable financial insights that drive business performance.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in financial planning, reporting, and analysis while acting as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders. You will provide commercial support, detailed cost analysis, and financial guidance to drive informed decision-making. Additionally, you will work with and mentor the shared services team in areas such as payroll, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and end-of-month processes. Some travel to site will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver timely and accurate financial reports, forecasts, and budgets
• Conduct detailed cost analysis and provide commercial insights
• Ensure compliance with BAS returns, insurance renewals, and regulatory reporting
• Provide financial support to asset managers and assist in key business decisions
• Review balance sheet reconciliations, capital work in progress, and inventory registers
• Assist with acquisitions, onboarding new investments, and developing financial policies
• Mentor and support the shared services team in financial operations
• Drive continuous improvement across financial systems and processes

About You:

• CA/CPA qualified with a strong background in commercial and operational accounting
• Proven experience in business partnering, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience applying accounting standards in a commercial setting
• Experience using Power BI and Xero is ideal
• Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships across the business
